Yes. You can easily install it from within WordPress by navigating to Appearance > Theme > Add New > Upload Theme. You can also upload the theme folder and files directly to the ‘theme’ folder within your WordPress installation.

Yes of course! No coding is required when using Gutenize. All theme and block options are simple settings that are easy to use.

As long as we’re providing releases, all ongoing updates are free.

When a new version of Gutenize is available, you will see an update alert in WordPress, just like all other Themes and Plugins do.

Important: It is highly recommended to take a full backup of the database and site files before completing an update on the live website, in case of a code conflict or incompatibility. Further, it is highly recommended to test all updates on a local development version first before updating the live website.

Tip: After updating the Gutenize Theme/Plugin, navigate Theme Options and review all settings to ensure any newly introduced settings are set to a value, as sometimes after an update they are null which can cause the frontend to not display as intended. It’s also good practice to resave the Theme Options and clear the cache after an update.

You can modify the theme code as you please to suit your needs.

It is recommended to use a child theme where possible to keep the parent theme unmodified for smooth updates when available.

For projects requiring heavy customisation including that of the parent theme code, note that updating the Theme/Plugin will overwrite your customisations, just like any other WordPress Theme or Plugin would. Ensure to use best developer practices in these instances.

Of course! We want you to build as many sites for yourself, your client’s or whoever. Gutenize was built to help you get more clients by streamlining your website design and build services so you can focus of getting more clients.

We offer email support via our contact form for general questions and initial install troubleshooting.

We DO NOT provide support for custom coding, conflicts with third-party plugins or components, issues with your web hosting provider, or any such modifications to WordPress or the Gutenize Theme/Plugin.
